When injured, I'm saving against the disease about six times/minute instead of once every in-game hour.

I'll take a look into this and do some further testing to see if any changes need to be made. For now the best way to avoid finding yourself with too many tokens is to be careful when you are infected. Keep your HP full with some healing kits, or join forces with a Druid, Bard, or Cleric who can help you manage your HP! We'll look into this, but it may take a bit of time. Thanks for letting me know!

This has been looked into. There's no need for a fix, but I'll explain what happened.
When you're struck with the disease initially, it does not take into account the clock. What happened was you were struck with a hit that infected you, and then you're 'hourly' disease progression also happened to strike. Thus giving you a 15 second window between the two checks. I was there to witness you get hit with the disease - and when you were hit with this 'bug' it only infected you twice. It then returned to normal.
I experienced this on my own character, so I'm aware of what you experienced first hand. Our disease goes based on the IG hourly clock. Every hour you make a roll to see if the disease progresses or fades. You were struck just before the hour ticked over, causing you to roll the save once more. The initial hit does not go off of the clock - but rather when you are hit.
Hope this helps clear things up!
Edit: To explain something else. If you are injured you are given the save once every 30-60 seconds. So that might be why it seemed like you were being dinged with the save so often. This is normal and working as intended. The infection is meant to spread quickly if you are wounded.
