This is a general list of rules that each and every single person are expected to follow. Please note that this is an 18+ server. You will be treated like an adult- but expected to act like one, as well.
Rule 1:Remain in-character at all times. If you need to speak oocly, we prefer if you use tells. If you need to make a spelling correction or note something to a group of people, it's not a big issue- just please denote your OOC; //, (( and OOC: are all fairly standard forms of denoting OOC. Rule 2:Be excellent to each other. Yes, this is a real rule. Treat your fellow human with respect, DM or Player. There are no exceptions to this rule, we expect all players to be respectful to one another, no matter the situation. As said before, this is an 18+ server. We're all adults here, so act like one please. Rule 3:No God-Modding. This means you can't have your character be able to just anything with no limits or boundaries. Be aware of your abilities, and don't fabricate things just to win a scenario or make yourself seem more interesting. You're beautiful the way you are. Rule 4:Rings of Kinship are considered ‘Empathetic’ connections. Not Telepathic. This means that you can sense the general well-being of a party member, and the direction of their locations - but you cannot speak to them through said ring. When a person dies with the ring on, you sense their ‘connection’ being abruptly snapped from your own. Rule 5:Muling. Transferring equipment from one of your characters to another is a bannable offense. If a player sees muling or dead-dropping like this, tell a DM. Muling is when someone else holds the items for one character, and then conveniently no longer wishes to hold onto it, and gives it to the player's new character. You will get one warning, and if it happens again will be permanently banned from the server. This is cheating, and not tolerated at all on this server.
Rule 6:No Metagaming. This means using OOC information to grant your IC character knowledge that they wouldn't otherwise have. This is a pretty basic RP server rule. Rule 7:Respect the DM’s if they make a request of you. We only ask things of a player if it is beneficial. However, with that said, if you feel you are being picked on by a member of our staff please do not hesitate to contact administration. The DM team is there to make the server more enjoyable- not to play god. We don't want anyone to feel uncomfortable on this server. However, we don't want to hear 'shit-talk' about our staff. Be mature, we're all adults here. Rule 8:Some subraces are open, however anything above +2 ECL is not allowed. Check the subrace section in Information to find out more about it. Rule 9:Pickpocketing has been disabled for the time being, until we release a customized pickpocketing system. For now, you can keep this IC with dice rolls and what-not. If a player metagames that you're pickpocketing due to you rolling the dice, even if you're successful, please contact a DM as this enters PvP ground.
If you have any questions, or generally have to tell a DM something (Like witnessing any cheating by a player or DM), use the DM channel if it's a player. If it's a DM, contact the Admin.

For players who may be harrassing others, showing inappropriate or exploitative/abusive behaviors, this is the system of warnings that may be given to them regarding Discord or IG behavior. DMs will administer these warnings. Examples of Offenses
- Exploiting a Bug or Dark Hour/NwN System not as intended/that is broken and benefiting from it.
- Lying about Crash Deaths
- Not following PvP Rules
- Not following Server Rules
- Threatening lives of others
- Racist/homophobic/sexually harassing remarks
**Ignorance of the rules and saying "I did not know" will still receive a first offense warning. You may only be forgiven at the discretion of how long you have been playing eg new players will receive leniency.** - 1st Offense: Warning and/or 24 hour ban. Any illicitly gained items through muling, duping-bugs or exploitations will be removed.
- 2nd Offense: 1 week ban
- 3rd Offense: Permanent Ban
The Team reserves the right to skip to a permanent ban if you exhibit any particularly egregious and offensive behavior |

New Server Rule: Courtesy of Contacting DMs Playerside
Our DMs and team members work very hard on the server, and have less time to enjoy player-side than our full time players. Their time to enjoy roleplay without constraints and demands of their role is precious and sacred. I wish this was a common understood courtesy, but I'm communicating it to our players now as a whole.
Players are not to contact DMs with tells while they are player-character (roleplaying) side, about DM related things, unless otherwise approached first or given explicit permission to do so.
If you have any questions, need help, even just a small lore question, before you think to send them a Tell please use the Discord "i need help" section or send a personal Discord message so they can reply on their own time. If you need further examples, this could include:
-Small lore questions
-System/server questions
-"I need help with x/y/z in the client"
-Questions about their plots, their DMing
-Questions or comments about -another- DM/s
-Complaints or comments related to or aided by their authority as a DM
When in doubt, play before you say! Just roleplay with them, please! |

Vault Food Exploiters - Any Exploits, Really
Do not drop bags of your food on the ground in vaults to avoid the spoilage script. If you are caught doing so we will take every piece of food off of your character, take your bag and possible further punishment for metagaming/exploiting a system.
This is a reminder that all those caught exploiting a system will receive a First Offense warning on their player roster OR a 24 hour ban. If you already have one warning, one 24 hour ban or a previous watchlist the next step is a one-week ban. I will not attempt to explain exploits, why they are wrong or why you will be punished because I have high standards for our players.
Ignorance of the rules, saying "I did not know" will still elicit you a First Offense Warning or worse depending on the nature of your offense. You are expected to read the forums and rules in full as a player. |
