So, I am a big hearted RPer. I also enjoy hearing ooc details of stuff I might never have heard - however, I'm wondering if people were to want to make a request that has some rather heavy IC implications - could this be handled through private messages and placed on the DM private forums? The reason I ask is because I like secrets - the less I know about someone - the harder it is for me to OOCly gravitate to a situation that might otherwise happen... I am also terrible at wording what I mean.
Lets make an example: Player A is roleplaying an undercover drow. Player B is roleplaying a sun elf who very much hates drow. Player C is roleplaying a paladin whom would have obvious concerns towards a drow. Player D is -also- a drow but is also a secret.
If this kind of stuff gets publicly posted to the forums - it can kinda take the magic away from your characters discoveries... on top of that it makes people roleplay towards that knowledge by accident. For instance if someone rped always wearing a mask/enclosed helmet - its almost normal in many of these cases that someone might be curious... hey what does your face look like!? However, in past experiences people whom have asked to be a drow and maintain their secret tend to be much more 'suspected' if that makes sense.
I'm not saying that people will metagame anyones request. ...but from both the person roleplaying the secretkeeper - and the person following a legitimate suspicion that a character is hiding something... It is simply much -easier- to have these things not public knowledge to us as players.
Not limited to that - it is also more fun to find out the person you have been aiding for months and months is actually possibly using you and is evil.
So to reiterate the question: (Even though I am sure the answer is yes, but I want it to be an official answer.) When we have requests for character details that are likely wanted to be hidden ICly can we simply request the DMs in private messages to avoid conflicts of interest and further the intrigue of our characters personal secrets?

Yes. Requests thread edited. Thanks. If your character has a possibly inflammatory background that could jeopardize their safety and risk metagame issues, please send your request to a member of our staff.

Hello, some weeks ago I started here on this server and I enjoy the setting and rp very much. Perfect for a roleplayer with not much time to play like me. So I created my first character "Fjura" and joined the fun. But new to the server I have done some build mistakes which now realy show effect. (Like skill points in skills I cant use on the server, no skillpoints in usefull skills, wrong features...) Fjura made herself a small name having closer contact (and very nice rp) with a dozen of other characters and gained xp and very nice items. So deleting her and starting new again would hurt quite well. This is why I would like to ask for a "rebuild". I was told by other players to do this on the forums. Is this possible? charcater "Fjura" player "nobs3"
